Throughout my time as a wedding photographer, I’ve been able to experience countless couples’ best day of their lives. Without fail, being present on a wedding day remind me that despite all the *gestures to the world* craziness going on out there, there is still so much good happening every day. Watching your favorite people show up and show out for you on the day you declare your love and commitment to each other for ever and ever is a privilege that I can’t put into words. To be loved is a privilege. But to witness love? That’s beyond.

When you’re in front of my camera, my top priority is always making sure your full beautiful messy human selves is what shines through. So often people think they have to shapeshit into The Wedding Couple™ and do all sort of weird (bad weird, not good weird) sh*t they would never think to do on a regular degular day.
What I’m trying to say is that all of you is welcome here. Life is full of mundane moments, sometimes even terrifying ones. But…there’s also days that feel like sunshine, life altering moments, inexplicable gut feelings that one decision is going to change everything you’ve ever known. Seconds so beautiful they take your breath away. As a photographer, I seek out these moments. Moments that show what it's like to be human. The vulnerability of being yourself. I know that you are two complex human beings in an equally complex relationship. All of that intricacy isn’t going to be flattened in your photos; in fact, my aim is to highlight your range and add some of my creative juice to spice it up while I’m there.
In fact, my philosophy as a wedding photographer is rooted in being immersed in your day versus being an outsider looking in. I’m not so much a fly on the wall as I am a chameleon, integrating myself into the day with varying levels of noticeableness. Trust I know how to catch a vibe and without interrupting it!!

Your photos are art to me, and I prioritize giving them the attention & care they deserve. For weddings & elopements, I give a sneak peek gallery of 50-100 photos 2-3 days after your wedding and deliver your full gallery within 12 weeks. I never limit your photo amount. I include every photo that I think is needed to tell the story. But minimums are listed in my packages!

My wedding packages include locations up to 4 hours from Grand Rapids, MI. Outside of that, travel fees will be quoted to you after you inquire! Domestic travel outside of Michigan is typically $1,500-$2,000 in travel fees.

You are only officially booked & your date secured when your contract is signed and you’ve paid the 30% retainer fee!

For weddings/elopements, final payment is due 1 month prior to the wedding date. For sessions, final payment is due 1 week prior to the session date!
