Vintage Styled Engagement Session for Spencer & Nick
I had so much fun with this vintage styled engagement session for Spencer and Nick. When they reached out to me for engagement photos, they specifically told me they weren’t a super traditional couple and wanted moody and unique photos that reflected their love! I was all in!
As their engagement photographer, I had the incredible opportunity to dive head first into their love story and captured an engagement session that feels straight out of a movie! Spencer and Nick prioritized what was special and important to them, I hope you love this engagement session as much as we did!
Choosing the Perfect Locations
Choosing the perfect locations was easy because Spencer was filled with great ideas! We settled on running around downtown Royal Oak and Bowlero! Downtown Royal Oak provided a more traditional look to their engagement photos while Bowlero brought in more retro and fun vibes!

Downtown Royal Oak
We started our session in the heart of downtown Royal Oak, exploring the charming streets and unique shops together. The moody vibes of downtown Royal Oak created the perfect backdrop for capturing their love in a way that felt authentic and real to them!

Bowlero Lanes & Lounge
After exploring downtown Royal Oak we headed over to Bowlero Lanes & Lounge! Bowlero was so fun and had lots to do. It added a fusion of retro charm and playfulness for Spencer and Nick. They started by having a drink at the bar and then moved their way over to the bowling alley area where we got some fun photos!
Bowlero also had a small arcade and pinball machine area where we captured some of my favorite photos! The arcade was filled with so much character and was such a unique space. Each photograph photograph told a story of just how deep the chemistry is between Spencer and Nick. I had the most amazing time with Spencer and Nick, capturing these cinematic arcade engagement photos.
